Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Veriox collects the following personal data: • Account data: your email address, display name, and profile photo. When you sign up with email, you provide these directly. When you sign in with Google, Google provides them as part of the OAuth sign-in flow (see Section 3). • Task & progress data: the missions, tasks, goals, routines, focus sessions, progress logs, discipline scores and streaks you create in the app. • Usage data: limited, non-identifying analytics events such as app opens, onboarding completion, task creation and completion, and focus session starts — used to improve the product. • Device data: basic platform information (web, iOS or Android) and app version, collected automatically when you use the app. We do not collect sensitive personal data such as government IDs, financial account numbers, or health records. We do not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, or any other device permission beyond what is required to display your chosen profile photo.

2. How We Collect Data

We collect data in three ways: • Directly from you — when you create an account, set up your profile, or create tasks, goals and focus sessions. • Automatically from Google — when you choose "Continue with Google", Google transmits the data described in Section 3 to Veriox as part of the OAuth authorization. • Automatically from your device — basic platform and app-version information, and local usage events, are collected as you use the app.

3. Google Account Information & Authentication

Veriox offers "Continue with Google" as a sign-in option using Google OAuth. When you choose this method, Google shares with Veriox only the information needed to create and sign in to your account: your email address and, if available, your basic profile name and profile picture. We use this data solely to: • Authenticate you and create your Veriox account. • Populate your Veriox profile (display name and photo). • Keep you signed in across sessions. We do not request access to your Google Contacts, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or any other Google service. We do not read, send, or post anything to your Google account, and we never share your Google data with third parties. You can revoke Veriox's access at any time from your Google Account security settings, and you can delete your Veriox account (which removes this data) from the app's Settings at any time.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to deliver and improve the Veriox experience: • To create and manage your account and authenticate you. • To store and display your tasks, goals, routines, focus sessions, progress logs, discipline scores and streaks. • To calculate your discipline score, analytics, trends and achievements. • To provide in-app features such as reminders, notifications and weekly reviews. • To improve product reliability and features through aggregated, non-identifying usage analytics. • To send you service-related communications, such as a response to a support request. We do not use your personal data to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it to train external machine-learning models.

5. Data Storage & Retention

Your data is stored securely on our cloud infrastructure. Task progress, discipline scores and certain preferences may also be cached locally on your device (via local storage) to enable offline functionality and faster loading. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account through the app's Settings, we permanently remove your account and your associated personal data (tasks, goals, progress logs, discipline scores, sessions and analytics) from our systems. If you sign in with Google and later delete your Veriox account, the Google data we received is also deleted; you may additionally revoke Veriox's authorization from your Google Account security settings.

6. Local Storage

Veriox uses your device's local storage (browser or app storage) to remember preferences such as your selected language, notification settings, focus completion sound/vibration, and to cache data for offline use and performance. This information stays on your device and is not shared with third parties. Veriox does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. You can clear local storage at any time through your device or browser settings, though some preferences may be reset.

7. Third-Party Services

Veriox relies on a small number of third-party services to operate: • Google Sign-In — used only when you choose "Continue with Google" to authenticate your account. Your use of Google Sign-In is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. • Our cloud hosting and database provider — used to store your account and app data securely. Apart from these infrastructure providers, we do not send your personal data to any third party. We do not use third-party advertising networks, and we do not share your data with analytics providers that build cross-site user profiles.

8. Data Sharing & "We Do Not Sell Your Data"

Veriox does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to anyone. We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes. Your data is shared only with the infrastructure providers described in Section 7, strictly as needed to operate the service, and only under agreements that require them to protect your data and prohibit its use for any other purpose. We may disclose data only where required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Veriox and its users.

9. Security Measures

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), restricted access controls so that only you can read and modify your own data, and separation of authentication credentials from your app data. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard practices. You also help protect your account by keeping your password confidential and revoking access for any sign-in method you no longer use.

10. Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated personal data at any time from the app's Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible: it removes your account, tasks, goals, routines, progress logs, discipline scores, sessions and analytics. If you signed in with Google, you may also revoke Veriox's authorization from your Google Account security settings. To request assistance with account deletion, contact support@veriox.ai.

11. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you. • Correct inaccurate personal data. • Request deletion of your personal data. • Withdraw consent for data processing that relies on consent (including Google Sign-In). • Object to or restrict certain processing of your data. You can exercise most of these rights directly in the app (editing your profile, deleting your account). For any other request, contact support@veriox.ai and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

12. Children's Privacy

Veriox is intended for general personal-productivity use and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact support@veriox.ai and we will take steps to delete that information.

13. International Data Transfers

Because our cloud infrastructure may process and store data in regions different from your own, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in a country other than your country of residence. Where this occurs, we take measures designed to ensure your data remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Material changes will be reflected in the app with an updated version date.

15. Contact Us

If you have any questions, requests, or concerns about this Privacy Policy or your personal data, you can contact us at: support@veriox.ai We will do our best to respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.
